Stat Staff is equipped with Recruiters and Account Managers to help answer your questions in terms of your contract or your shifts, but we know that your job isn't negotiating contracts and your schedule, it's helping patients. We saw a need to have a resource for you to call or email with questions, concerns, and advice in terms of the clinical work you do.
That's where Clinical On-Call comes in. Unsure if you handled a situation with a patient correctly? Concerned about patient safety at your current assignment? Kathy Mion, our Director of Clinical Services, is available during weekly on-call hours to answer questions, talk you through a work situation, and offer advice and feedback.

Kathy Mion has 25 years of nursing experience, and currently lends her expertise to Stat Staff as a Director of Clinical Services and AHA instructor. She received her BSN while working on a Medical Surgical unit at Rochester General and attended classes at night through Nazareth College. In the years following, she spent 10 years in the Emergency Room and, reaching the rank of Lieutenant, served 8 years in the United States Navy.
