We care about our nurses and we listen when they come to us with feedback of any kind. When our nurses asked if we could offer lower medical insurance rates, we listened. Because of previously higher rates, we experienced low coverage participation. As we make this investment in better insurance costs for our employees, we anticipate higher enrollment, with will keep coverage costs down.Save
You will be given a benefits packet the day you start employment with Stat Staff, and are able to sign up for all medical, dental, and vision coverage at that point. You have 30 days from the start of your employment to sign up for benefits. Regardless of the day you sign up for benefits within that 30 day period, you will be covered for the full 30 days. For example, if you are hired on January 3rd and you do not choose your benefits until January 26th you would be covered for all of January. If you are a current Stat Staff employee you decide to waive your benefits at the time of hire you be eligible to sign up for benefits during open enrollment of the next year unless you have a qualifying event (divorce, death, etc.).
The very next check. If you are out for 2 or 3 weeks, Stat Staff Professionals will double up on withholdings only. It could take 2-3 weeks to get caught up.
Yes. You will be responsible.
You are still eligible to continue your benefits through Federal Continuation Coverage Rights under COBRA.
No, this is just for medical insurance. Dental and vision plans are available separately.
