Choose Your Wellness Benefit Plan!

FitBit Challenge

We all know it - walking is good for you and we don't do it enough. In an effort to help our staff get moving, we're implementing the FitBit Challenge! Sign-up using the form below and we'll send you a free FitBit to join our company challenge group. Everyone company-wide (caregivers in the field and in-office) work toward the goal of the general recommended number of steps per day, 10K or nearly five miles each day.

The next FitBit challenge starts Monday, September 19th and will end on Friday, September 30th.  For each day that an employee reaches 10,000 steps, $1.00 per person will be donated to Nurses House, a charitable organization devoted to helping nurses in need. 

Their mission is to provide short-term financial assistance to nurses in need as a result of illness, injury, or disability.  The total contribution that Stat Staff Professionals will make to Nurses House will not to exceed $100.00 overall.  Whoever reaches their goal the most times will also win one hour of PTO. 

If 10K steps are not made 24 times in the first three months, the FitBit must be returned to Stat Staff. If these requirements are met, the FitBit doesn’t need to be returned. Happy walking!

Employees may win up to a maximum of 8 hours of PTO annually.

Employees must choose between either wellness plan and cannot combine both. 

This benefit is available to full-time employees who have been employed by Stat Staff Professionals for a minimum of 6 months 


 

Gym Membership Reimbursement

If getting to the gym is more your style, sign-up to be reimbursed for gym membership fees! Stat Staff will reimburse you up to $60.00 per year on any fees related to a fitness club/gym membership. 

For family memberships, employees must provide documentation for the cost of an individual membership and will be reimbursed upon that amount. Proof of attendance is also required; employees must make a minimum of 24 visits per quarter. Employees may provide his or her own statement of dates attended in lieu of a sign-in sheet from the facility inasmuch as a sign-in sheet might list other individuals' names and pose potential privacy concerns for the gym.

Procedure:

Receipts and sign in logs must be submitted to benefits@statstaffpro.com. Proof of purchase must include the employee’s name, amount paid and the date of the payment.

Exclusions:

Recreational activities and weight-loss programs while encouraged as part of an overall fitness program, do not qualify for reimbursement.

Tax Liability:

The amount reimbursed to employees will be reported as taxable income to the IRS and is subject to FICA, Medicare, federal, state and local taxes.

Employees must choose between either wellness plan and cannot combine both.
