What are the requirements to become a Stat Staff Nurse? 
  • You will need a valid nursing license. 
  • You must have a minimum of 1-year experience in the specialty of interest.
  • Travel experience isn’t required for all facilities/contracts but it is recommended.
Why should I work for Stat Staff Professionals instead of another staffing agency? 
  • Stat Staff Professionals is a Nurse-owned and a nurse-operated company.

How long do contracts last? 

Typically contracts last 8-13 weeks but can be flexible depending on the needs of the facility. Our contracts have guaranteed hours for our Caregivers.   

If a contract is a bit too structured-we also offer per diem opportunities at many facilities.  This allows a caregiver to pick and choose when they want to work based on the needs of a facility.  There are no guaranteed hours associated with per diem opportunities.


When and how will I be paid? 

For all employees, pay is weekly, every Friday, via direct deposit (unless a check is requested).

Do you offer temp-to-perm positions? 

Typically, all positions/contracts are temporary. However, some facilities do have temp-to-perm contracts available.

How many hours a week do Stat Staff nurses work? 

All contracts have guaranteed hours, usually 36 or 40 hours per week.

What benefits does Stat Staff offer their temp employees? 

Benefits are provided to full-time employees who work 30+ hours a week.
